How we work
From your first message to the drive back to NJP, this is what happens, and when you pay.
Where, when, how many of you and roughly what you want to spend a day. Five questions online, or a WhatsApp message.
Within one working day: a day-by-day plan with every jeep seat, bed, meal, permit and guide priced. Shared or reserved transport, your choice.
Swap a homestay, add a night, drop a long drive. Each change comes back with the new cost. No payment until you are happy.
We confirm every stay, vehicle and permit in writing, and send your permit checklist and packing notes.
Your planner is on WhatsApp for the whole trip, for landslide detours, late jeeps and the best momo shop in town.
Questions people ask
We plan honest-priced trips in the Darjeeling and Sikkim Himalaya and the Dooars: Darjeeling, Kurseong and Mirik, Kalimpong, the Singalila Ridge, Gangtok and East Sikkim, North Sikkim, West and South Sikkim, and the Dooars forests. We use shared jeeps or reserved cars, homestays, government lodges and the toy train, and we show every cost line by line.
No. Prices on the site are indicative per person, twin sharing, from NJP or Bagdogra and back. The final price depends on dates, rooms, vehicle type and availability. We send a written quote with every jeep, bed, meal and permit itemised before you pay anything.
Because we do not hide a private car and a hotel mark-up inside one number. Where a shared jeep or a family homestay works well, we use it, and we tell you plainly where paying more is worth it, such as a reserved car on a long day or a room facing Kanchenjunga.
Yes, and most people do. The trips on the site are tickets that show what works and what it costs. We change stays, add nights, swap shared jeeps for a car and combine hills, then send a new day-by-day plan with the new cost.
Yes. Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Gangtok are each three to five hours apart by road, and the Dooars are two to three hours from Siliguri. Common combinations are Darjeeling with Pelling, Kalimpong with Gangtok, and a Dooars forest weekend added to any hill trip.
For October, Durga Puja, Diwali, Christmas and the April to May holidays, book four to eight weeks ahead for good homestays and toy train seats. North Sikkim permit tours and Sandakphu trekkers' huts can fill in peak weeks. Outside those dates, two weeks is usually enough.
